A hearty English breakfast is served around a large table in the lovely dining room with oak beams and an Inglenook fireplace.

Surrounding area
Castleton is a fabulous base for touring and walking the beautiful Peak District and indeed for exploring the variety of stunning sites the Hope Valley has to offer.

Nearby attractions include Peveril Castle (built in 1080), the show caves - some famous for the rare mineral "Blue John", the historic homes of Chatsworth, Haddon, Eyam, Hardwick and Lyme Park, the market town of
Bakewell, home of the famous "Bakewell Pudding", the Ladybower, Derwent and Howden reservoirs of "Dam Buster" fame, and of course the well trodden walks of the Pennine Way, Kinder Scout, Limestone Way and Dovedale to name but a few.
