Mam Tor House is an Edwardian family home situated in quiet mature gardens next to the Parish Church in the centre of
Edale
. We are mid-way between The Rambler Country House Hotel and the Old Nag's Head Inn, just a short walk from Edale Railway Station and 200 yards to the official start of the Pennine Way - the first long distance footpath to be created in the British Isles.
Accommodation
We are pleased to offer Mam Tor House Loft apartment; this is in the high quality self contained wing of Mam Tor House. Accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms - 2 x Twin and 1 x Double, plus Futon for occasional use in the Lounge area. There is a fully equipped mahogany floored kitchen (fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washer / dryer, Sky TV, microwave, cooker with oven) and large lounge also with Sky television.
The property has 3 bathrooms - all with showers, one with bath and shower.
Wireless Broadband is available if required.
The accommodation is split over 2 floors, the higher level offering stunning views north over Grindsbrook Booth to Kinder Scout, south across the church yard to Mam Tor Iron Age Hill Fort and west towards Jacob's Ladder and the setting sun.
Views are from large 7ft by 4 ft arched windows.
There is plenty of off-road parking and a private garden with BBQ area is under construction (completion shortly).
Tariff
Rates: £500 a week or £100 a night for short breaks, min stay 3 nights. Please call for special off-Peak rates.
Prices include towels, bed linen, heating and electricity Booking Arrangements
1. Weekly bookings run Saturday to Saturday. The accommodation is available from 4.00 pm on the arrival day until 10.00 am on the departure day.
2. A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking. No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received by us.
3. The balance and a refundable security deposit of £200 must be paid no later than 4 weeks before the booked period begins (or immediately if booking closer to the date).
4. The number of people staying at the property must not exceed the number agreed at the time of booking.
5. Children are welcome, highchair and travel cot are available.
6. Pets are allowed at the property but must be agreed in advance with us.
7. If you cancel a booking please email us or advise us in writing immediately so that we can seek to re-let the property immediately.
