Welcome to Michill Cottage - a charming 17th century stone holiday cottage full of character and oak beams - sleeps 4+ and pet friendly - in world famous Castleton with wonderful views of the surrounding hills and countryside. Walks from the doorstep. Several good pubs and facilities in the village. Access to the cottage garden (opposite the cottage) from July 2007 - with superb views over to the surrounding hills. Tariff Prices range from £200 to £395 depending on time of year. Prices quoted are for up to 4 people for 7 nights, from Saturday to Saturday. More information Being a terraced stone property with 2 foot thick walls, Michill Cottage is always warm and welcoming, especially in the cooler months. It is centrally heated with a double and a twin room to accommodate 4 guests. The double has stunning views of the surrounding hills. - There are also 2 sofa beds in the lounge for more quests if required. Six people can be comfortably accommodated, but anymore would be an interesting squeeze! - The fitted kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of crockery, glassware, utensils, saucepans and oven to table ware. We enjoy cooking so have ensured that the kitchen provides home from home facilities. - In the lounge the dining table is set up for 4, but pulls out and will comfortably seat 6. - The bathroom is equipped with a white 2-piece suite and has a stand-alone electric shower unit. - Outside to the rear of the property there is a small courtyard, which has a white wrought iron table and chairs and a barbeque. - We have dogs and welcome others to visit. The cottage is clean, pet hair free and in excellent condition. We are happy for you to leave your well-behaved dog in the cottage if you visit one of the local attractions or pubs that doesn’t take dogs. - On the doorstep and within 100 yards of the front door, in each direction, is the start and finish of several walks, being as long or as short as you like. For walking, the Peak District National Park is unsurpassed. - Virtually opposite Michill Cottage and nestled between two cottages is the start of one of many walks. It is very dramatic, going between limestone crags and opens out beneath the castle.
